Paging Dr. Rogers

We've had a busy couple of weekends, what's new? Last weekend we went up to Bellefonte for Evie's SECOND birthday. I can't believe my sweet Evie is two!! Jean hosted a really great birthday party complete with pumpkin painting and bowling. I'm still trying to talk Erin and Stephen into letting me clone Evie for my third child. If I knew for sure I'd have one like Evie, I wouldn't hesitate!

Georgia hit a major milestone this past week - she can write her name on her own! Now, for some kids it's easy, but with two G's and four vowels, "Georgia" isn't exactly a breeze to write. We've been working on it a lot the past few months and she's got it now. She's also really into writing other letters and asking me what letter everything starts with. I think reading is right around the corner. Hughie's also doing a lot more talking these days, spouting out sentences and lots of new words. His latest passion? Medicine. Evie got an animal hospital for her birthday complete with a stethoscope. Hughie wore it ALL weekend, checking every one's hearts and breathing. Everyone was amazed that he knew what to do with the stethoscope, but I think his "skills" are more a testament to many his ear infections than his genius.

This past weekend we went to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. Georgia loved all of the elaborate costumes, particularly the Queen. Personally, I can never quite get over all of the weirdo men in costume (who are NOT hired to do so), but I digress.
